I. Augustine Classic Strings.
These are the original Augustine guitar strings, an intrinsic part of the classical guitar revolution this century.

Albert Augustine, an instrument maker, found himself pressured by none other than Andrés Segovia to manufacture and sell nylon guitar strings. He did so, insuring the rise of a new generation of concert players and lending his own part to the cultivation and completion of the famous Segovia sound.

THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF AUGUSTINE TREBLE STRINGS.

• Augustine Classic Trebles (the original nylon string).
• Augustine Regal Trebles.

Each of the above nylon strings has a different quality of sound. Generally speaking, although we don't designate tension to our strings, the Classic Treble nylon is the least tense string. Imperial trebles are next, followed by the Regal trebles, which are the most tense. Please keep in mind, however, that each string, regardless of "tension," will sound different depending on the type of instrument you are using. BLUE BASSES. The Augustine Blue bass strings are our thickest copper wound bass strings. These strings are available in the following sets:
